We had decided to move south and bought property and then decided to to build. There were two plans and of course trouble making up our minds, which one. Lanny was sent the floor plans, he gave us his idea which coincided with my wife's favorite plan. But there was a small problem, both plans had the bathroom through the closet. As an Interior Designer collaborating with Lanny on projects in Manhattan & Westport Ct. have been wonderful experiences and that is because Lanny is a great collaborative partner. He created a breathtaking three story glass staircase in Ct., columns of steel and expanses of glass on the rear facade uniting this with a shingle style front facade. A truly beautiful union. In Manhattan he was able to put a small powder room in a space that had only one bath. Lanny's use of space in this small apartment made it appear larger, turning a small one bedroom into a luxurious one bedroom with one and one half baths and a small library. We hired Lanny Lerner to design our new house which was completed in the summer of 2010. It was a unique Victorian design with colonial center hall interior. Lanny was extremely easy to work with and made design changes and alterations seamlessly and with great skill. When the interior wall structure was completed, we wanted a larger laundry room space.
